The Light was started by St. James as a mission church in the nearby Rocksprings community of Athens. Located at 174 Henderson Ext, Athens, GA, The Light celebrated its 25th anniversary as a church in 2023.

Led by Pastor Lloyd Craft, this church has had a deep, positive impact on the Rocksprings area, thus fulfilling their vision of "a changed community that comes from the power of GOD."
